The Warwick Turf Club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday 21 September 2023 from 5.30pm.

As part of ongoing efforts to protect the environment, the Management Committee has chosen to provide the 2022/23 Annual Report online via the Club’s website.

This report will be available on this website from 18 September 2023.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2022/23

The Annual General Meeting of the Warwick Turf Club Incorporated ABN 96 234 049 400 will be held in the David & Margot Cory Members Lounge, Warwick Turf Club, 170 Victoria Street on Thursday 21 September 2023 at 5.30pm, for the purpose of considering the following agenda.

1. REVIEW OF ACTIONS

The Secretary may provide a report on any relevant incoming and outgoing items.

The Management Committee reports on the status of any actions arising out of the last general meeting and identifies any conflicts of interest disclosed at committee meetings since that meeting.

2. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES OF LAST GENERAL MEETING

Members consider whether the minutes are accurate and discuss any perceived anomalies.

The Secretary must ensure all resolutions of the meeting regarding the minutes of the previous general meeting are recorded in the minutes of the current meeting and corresponding amendments are made to all necessary documents. To discuss the issues raised at the previous Annual General Meeting held on 15 September 2022.

3. PRESIDENT'S REPORT / TREASURER'S REPORT 
To receive and consider the Club’s Annual Report comprising the President’s Report, Auditor’s Report, Directors Declaration, Comprehensive Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Cash Flow and Notes to and forming part of the accounts for the Club for the Financial Year ended 30 June 2023.

4. PROPOSED RESOLUTION             

Proposed amendments to the Club's Constitution for approval.

5. ELECTION OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Pursuant to section 7.1 of the Warwick Turf Club Constitution, the Management Committee have  eleven (11) vacant positions to be filled.

Nominations for Committee must be lodged with the Chief Operating Officer of the Club by 5:00pm on Friday 1 September and addressed to:

A copy received electronically may be lodged before the nomination closing date.

Committee nomination forms can be obtained by financial members on request via email from the Chief Operating Officer.

Discussion by Members concerning issues of the Warwick Turf Club. If member questions raised require the club to produce any information, please provide this in writing to secretary@warwickturfclub.com.au prior to the meeting to allow the club to gather said information and answer all questions.
